What does this tool do?
Write what you need before you go, then type the shelf price next to each item. The list total updates instantly, and every item you tick adds to the "In cart" amount, so you know what you will pay before you reach the checkout.
A paper list reminds you what to buy but never tells you how much you have spent. This tool shows both on one screen, and works one-handed on your phone in the aisle.
Why set a budget limit?
Unplanned purchases are one of the easiest ways to overspend on groceries. Enter a limit and the bar fills as prices add up; it changes colour past 80% and shows exactly how much you are over. You decide what to drop at the shelf, not at the till.
Tip: list the essentials first with prices, then add extras only while the remaining amount allows.
Why keep past trips?
See how much each trip cost, compare what you paid for the same item last week, and reopen your routine list with one tap instead of typing it again.
How to use it
1) Optionally enter a budget. 2) Add item, quantity and price if known. 3) Tap the circle as you shop; you can type the price there too. 4) Tap "Finish & save trip" to store it in your history.
